Brand story

A brand made by Kalklitir and De Farang

KALK PAINT was created for self-applying customers in Korea by Kalklitir, the Belgian family company leading natural paint, and deFarang, the company that first made European plaster in Korea and brought natural plaster to a wide audience.

Kalklitir means 'lime paint' in Icelandic. The company was founded on the skills and training of Auður Skúla, a trained decorative painter.

De Farang was the first to make European plaster in Korea's interior industry and led its popularisation.
